In conjunction with the visit of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Essa Al-Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Economic Development Board to Singapore under the Singapore International Foundation (SIF)’s Middle East Eminent Persons’s Programme (MEEP), Singapore Business Federation (SBF) hosted a dialogue session with them to brief our MEBG members of the business opportunities presented in Bahrain. The session was chaired and moderated by Mr. Teng Theng Dar, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Business Federation and Chairman of the Middle East Business Group (MEBG)
The objective of the business dialogue session was to provide a platform for Singapore businessmen to interact with His Excellency and to find out more about the latest business opportunities in Bahrain; as well as present an avenue for the Singapore businessmen to have a frank and interactive discussion on any issues on the business environment and garner advice for their forays into the country. SBF has specially invited 10 Singapore businessmen, mainly senior representatives from a myriad of areas including Financial Services, Education and Training, ICT, Legal, Utilities, Real Estate and Construction and Engineering, to the roundtable session. Some of these businessmen had already established in Bahrain and were eager to learn more about maneuvering the market, while others were keen to explore areas and opportunities where their businesses strategies may fit into.
