Mission to Iran 2 to 8 October 2009

The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) led a business mission to the Islamic Republic of Iran from 2nd – 8th October 2009 with an 18-member delegation comprising of companies from the oil and gas, engineering, construction, marine offshore, shipping, township solutions and IT solutions industries.

In conjunction with the visit of the Undersecretary for Industry Affairs of Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Osama Mohammed Arrayed, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) facilitated a one day meeting programme for him and his delegation with 2 key leaders in the electronic and pharmaceutical industry.

SBF has specifically arranged for them to meet with Mr. Seah Moon Ming, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd and Mr Jimmy Leung and Michael Ho, Business Development Managers of Leung Kai Fook Medical. The primarily agenda for the meeting was to seek out the interest of the 2 companies in their respective fields, pharmaceutical and electronic engineering to invest and setup in Bahrain in their investment park.
